Barcelona Test (part 2)

The final test session is the most important, so it was crucial for us to maximize it. However, we had to change our initial plans from the very beginning: my team-mate Nick Heidfeld, who was supposed to start track work, had a bad cold So the team adapted our schedule rapidly, I drove from the afternoon of first day, then the whole second and a half of third.

Thanks to guys from our base we receive serious aero update at Barcelona, and we need to check it at first. It's quite a 'boring' procedure - you have to keep constant (and not fast!) speed on straights. Such test gives a lot of useful data for engineers. The most recent update was a clear step forward,it gave us more downforce and were among leaders during all days at Catalunya circuit.

So, pre-season tests are finished and I feel quite happy after Barcelona session. The season will start soon - we had good preparation behind us. The team's motivation is high and the atmosphere in the team is positive. We have a lot of things to do before Melbourne, but it is always so in Formula One.

After test I will visit Robert Kubica at the hospital, and on Monday, March 21st, I will take my flight to Australia. Off-season is almost over and I'm looking forward to the races!
